8:15AM--Woke up and had some breakfast, turned on GMA. Checked the bank balance online; we were $1.91 overdrawn since our automatic payment from Netflix came in overnight. Fortunately there won't be an overdraft fee, since our SS payments come in tonight and it's less than $2.00.

9AM--got dressed, made the bed, cleaned the cat litter, washed the dishes, started a load of laundry and tidied up the living room and dining room.

Around 10, I decide to work on uploading some fic to some of the archives I post to. As usual, I run into formatting troubles. I took a break around 11, and went out to check the mail. I got a $10 gift card for Walmart. (I get one every three months for filling out a quarterly survey for OSU about the environment.) I also went outside to look at the front yard, and discovered our first sunflower has bloomed, so I went in and grabbed my iPad to take a picture:

12:15--The DH had been out in the garage working on his hobby with upcycling bottles. He came in and we had lunch (homemade chicken salad sandwich, with chips and sliced tomato, which we ate while watching "Listed Sisters" on the DVR.

1PM--Worked on cleaning up my sewing room.

2:22--Back on the computer! I nearly missed getting online to work with my co-writer on a fic. I had set the timer to remind me, but I was so busy working on the room I didn't hear it go off! Thankfully, the DH came in from outside and asked me why the timer was beeping!

[livejournal.com profile] kgreen20and I worked for about an hour and a half, and I went to work on the sewing room for a while. Then I rested a bit and read a really informational but appalling book I got from the library: Dark Money: The Hidden History of the Billionaires Behind the Rise of the Radical Right. It's really scary, but it also makes me angry. If you vote as a US citizen, I really recommend reading this book before the November election!

4PM--Switched over some laundry I'd put in last night, and then came in here to type up my notes for today so far. Then I went back to working on the sewing room. A lot of my storage boxes are jumbled up when I've put things away in the wrong container.

About 5:30, we went to Braum's, where I work. Every Tues. evening, they have a Buy-One-Get-One special for the Bacon Cheeseburger combo--two meals for the price of one. We ate there at the store, and then I used my gift card to pick up a marked down fudge cake to have later on for dessert.

Got home about 6:30 or a little after, and watched the news (we always DVR the evening news) and then we watched some episodes of "West Wing" on Netflix. I worked on my crocheting, as the cat was ensconced elsewhere for a change.

Here is what my current project will look like when I'm finished, hopefully:

Here's my progress so far:

After three episodes, the DH got up to take his shower, and I watched a couple of polymer clay tutorials on YouTube. He went on to bed, and I typed up my notes for the rest of the day, and it is 10:40PM and I am now turning off the computer and going to bed.

So, that was my 12th of July, 2016.
