Internet problems

dreamflowerFor several days I've had intermittent trouble staying online; I can *get* online OK, but attempts to navigate from one page to the next are frequently stymied with a "cannot display this page" page. *sigh* And slowness. Really slow slowness.
It's been a lot worse tonight. I'm not even sure I will be able to post this post.
The trouble comes and goes-- it's worse in the evening, and better some days than others. At any rate, if I'm not commenting on your posts, it's probably because I couldn't. *sigh*
My son thinks it's my router; the DH thinks it's all the stuff my son's been downloading onto my computer. My son is complaining that it's making his X-box run slow. *I* think it's evol Titivillus the patron demon of scribes, out to get me.
Anyway, I have spent more time today fiddling and trying to get online than I have writing. *sigh*
ETAWell, it seems to have been the router. The DH took it off and hooked the comp directly to the modem. After a call to Suddenlink for a reset, it's working fine so far. *crosses fingers*
