dreamflower as asked me to let whomever is interested to know she is in hospital and has been since last Sat. night. she will be having gallbladder surgery july 25th and if there are no complications may be home as early as tomorrow night. she will probably not be able to do much except take pain meds for a day or two. any way that is it. now i will tell her in the AM i actually was able to do what she asked. her computer challenged husband bids all a goodnight and good by and God bless.

Oh, dear. Let her know I'm thinking of her and we appreciate you "challenging" yourself. I had that surgery about 10 years ago - it does in fact have pretty fast recovery time and teeny-tiny scars.

Oh dear. I'm sorry she's going through this, but I wish her a speedy recovery and a gentle convalescence. Make sure she doesn't do much even for a week or two after! No lifting, no rushing around, etc. :)

Oh, dear! Poor Dreamflower!

Please let her know we're praying for her -- and for you as well.

One advice the hospital didn't give me when I had the surgery in April: For the first few hours after you get her home, sleeping in a sitting position, propped up with pillows, will help with nausea. You know this because of being in medicine, but they didn't tell me. Also cold ginger ale is helpful.

Also crackers, bananas, and potatoes help for the first few days.
