Ahh...noooo!

I just accidentally erased 3 hours worth of writing fic. Not the computer's fault--my own! I accidentally hit the space bar when I had the new material highlighted, and didn't realize what I'd done when I hit save...

It was *good* stuff, too! Will I ever be able to re-write it.

Well, I had to go run a couple of errands, which gave me the time to get over the initial desire to scream/cry/throw up.

I'm back home. I put supper in the crock-pot, and I'm having lunch here at the computer. I will not stop writing until I somehow have it back *at least* as good as it was.

My blooper

...is almost fixed. Sort of. I got from Point A, which is where I left off the day before, back to Point B in the story. It's about 250 words less than it was originally, but I think I got in all the important stuff. Perhaps tomorrow I can get the rest of it finished.
