While researching dates for my story "Eleventy-one: Too Short a Time, Book One", I collected some information on certain years in the Shire. I thought it would be helpful to share this information in case anyone else might find it useful; as for myself, I discovered that the chapter I wanted to write would not canonically fit into the time frame I wanted it to go!
