1) Show me your favorite Lotr picture. Doesn't even have to be Frodo, though I know it will be for a lot of this crowd! That's right, just one. I know you can. (SPECIAL gold star for anyone who can show me a pic of Strider sitting in the corner in Bree looking Rangery...)
Don't they all look magnificent in their finery!
2) Tell me one LOTR fic scenario you want most to see written and haven't yet or don't see it written enough.
I can't get enough Conspiracy fic! I'd love some from Frodo's POV, after it's been revealed, and he's thinking it over during the night! Or from Fatty' POV, on being left behind, or what he thinks when Merry draws him into the Conspiracy!
3) If you like slash, tell me your favorite pairing, your OTP, and why. No fair saying "nothing else makes sense." That's cheating!
No slash. But I love canon couples.
4) If you could be transported to Middle-earth and BE any of the characters from LOTR, who would you be?
Esmeralda Brandybuck.
Why? This doesn't just mean the fellowship. It could be anyone, even some minor, unnamed character.
She got to be a "second mum" to two of the Travellers, and she *was* mum to one of them. She must have had a lot of influence on how they turned out. And just think: she got to play with wee!Frodo, wee!Merry *and* wee!Pippin!!
6) Tell me a piece of music that immediately calls to mind LOTR (can't be from the soundtracks).
One is "The Water is Wide (Waly, Waly)" which just seems *meant* to be a Grey Havens vid--but not just Sam and Frodo, all four of them!
Another is a beautiful Celtic instrumental piece called "Circle of Joy" that just seems *meant* to be a hobbity circle dance.
7) Tell me another fandom with which you'd like to crossover with LOTR.
Two:
Chronicles of Narnia. Dr. Who.
8.) Name a creative AU scenario with LOTR characters in it.
It's hard to think of an AU I'd like that hasn't been done in some fashion or another. Nothing dark--I like happy AUs! I can't get enough of scenarios in which all *four* of the hobbits get to go to the West, though.
