We are going to be leaving shortly to drive down to Florida for the funeral. It's going to be a long and grueling drive.

I've been wanting to make a post for the last two days, but when it came down to it, I didn't know what to say.

I still don't, except for one thing: the people on my flist are wonderful, and I thank you so much for all of your love and support.

I'm taking the laptop. If I can sort through my feelings, I'll try and post after the funeral.

Sending prayers for a safe trip there and back again, and that you may find peace and comfort. Take time to reminisce with your family and her friends. Having just gone through my father's death in May, I can tell you that sharing fond memories of a loved one is very helpful at a time like this. Whether you manage to keep in touch with us on-line right now or not, we will be thinking of you.
