I confess that I left two things off that occurred to me at once, but that was because they were entire sets of books: One was Childcraft and another was Richard's Topical Encyclopedia. My mother purchased those sets in the 50s, when I was still in kindergarten, and I spent hours poring over them throughout my early life. I still have both complete sets.

But my list is the first 15 individual books that came to mind.
