Hobbit month?

For a couple of years, someone organized a "hobbit month", where someone posted something hobbity every single day, in August. I went looking back, and I guess it didn't happen last year. Does anyone know if it is going to happen this year? Since July is nearly over, I suppose not...*sigh*

Do you happen to recall who was in charge of it? I can't seem to find a Hobbit Month community. I tried searching both with and without an underscore.

It was frodosweetstuff and she is definitely thinking of doing another Hobbit Month. I'm not sure exactly when.

I don't know, dear. But I've been off line for over a week. It's only now I'm reading flist again. But I have intentions and want to watch LOTR again soon. Does that help? It's at least a wish to see the hobbits again.

Hi! Lbilover told me you asked about the Hobbit Month! It's me who organizes those but I didn't do one last year because there were so many other events taking place that I thought no one would have time for it (and I made a poll in my LJ asking my flist what they thought and the general consensus was to make it pause for a year).

Unfortunately, I had some health problems over the last two months which forced me to take an LJ break and so I didn't have time to organize a Hobbit Month for August, but I'll be announcing one for October this year shortly. Would be lovely if you took part!

Also, I'll be organising another Mathom Exchange for Frodo's and Bilbo's birthday in September and that will also be open for both slash and gen (I think last year's contributions were almost 50:50 when it came to slash and gen). So that might be another thing for you to take part in. I'll be posting about that in my LJ, too, within the next few days. :)

Maybe we should friend each other? I've been meaning to ask you if it was okay to friend you anyway. :)
