Holy Cow! I just reached over to click my mouse, and a roach nearly two inches long almost crawled on my hand! I screeched and grabbed the nearest thing to hand to swat it away! Sorry, "Letters..."

Ugh!!! It's that time of year in the Deep South. *shudder*

Reasons #1-111 why I intend to never live in the deep south. Ugh!

*shudders just thinking about it*

Well, at least it wasn't a spider the size of your hand.

*shudders still, though*

Eeek! *shudders along with you*

Yup, definitely that time of year. Mike killed a bug in Miranda's bathroom sink this evening. It was about 3" long, flat, had many legs and feelers at the head and tail so it was difficult to tell the front from the back. Sorta reminded me of a centipede, but much more delicate looking. Still don't know what THAT was! Yikes!

I hate those things! Roaches and spiders are about the only things that frighten me. I'd sooner have a house full of snakes than to find one spider. That is why Shelob scared the crap out of me. At my house it's time to fight off the fleas before long. My cats and I will do battle all summer long and into the fall. We must all arm outselves as best we can. I wish you luck.

Eeeewww! Us Californias complain about insects, but really it's nothing compared to what everyone else has to put up with. We don't even get June bugs anymore hardly. Two inches! Eek! That's a huge cockroach!

Eeek, that would be enough to put me off a computer for a week (well, maybe)

I feel your pain! San Diego has tons of roaches, and they show up in the most unexpected places.

*shudders*

Huge sympathies - we in the uk don't get them very often, but in warm buildings we sometimes get an infestation, and they squick me more than anything. Even worse than silverfish. Much, much worse than spiders. In fact, in comparison, spiders are loving faithful friends who live under the bath and eat all the silverfish.

WHOA! Watch out, they fly! lol. We had two roaches strolling around yesterday in the middle of the day. What fun it can be when it gets warm :P
