I got an email from pearltook1. She heard from the husband of Pipkin Sweetgrass AKA thebeecharmer whom some of you may remember for her wonderful Boromir and hobbits stories, especially her lovely Boromir-lives AU "The Beecharmer". Pearl gave me permission to post his message, as he does not know how to reach many of her online friends:

Here is his email to Pearl:


"I'm terrible worried about my wife. She became very ill on the 11th and I had to call an ambulance to take her to the hosptial. Her blood pressure had bottomed out and her cystolic pressure went down as low as 34. Then they told me she was suffering from kidney failure. Her white count was also elavated and they said they were also afraid she may be suffering muscle deteriation due to taking colestral lowereing drugs. When it rains it pours! They are still running tests and thank God she was doing much better today, although she is still on medication to keep her blood pressure stable. Please keep her in your prayers...."

A follow-up email indicates they are transferring her to another hospital for a cardiac catheterization.

She's a lovely person-- I met her at ScotMoot and had delightful conversations with her, and I am very worried by this news. I know that she would welcome any good thoughts and prayers sent her way!

Oh, that's terrible! She really is the sweetest person and she's had so much to deal with over the past few years. I will be sending good thoughts her way. Let me know if you hear anything else.
