Apr. 19th, 2005 08:03 pm...who wanted something about Estella and Fredegar, set during her story "Beauty for Ashes" (here Fred thinks about his sister, right after she left him after their father's death)...
The house seems oddly empty. It echoes with her absence. I didn’t mean to let her down, I didn’t mean to not be there for her. Death, I have seen it myself in the Troubles, but to face my own parents’ deaths was more than I could take. She has every right to be angry with me.
Strange, how I could be brave enough to wait for danger at Crickhollow, court danger from Lotho’s cruel Men, but I can’t find the courage to talk to my own sister about what’s important to her.
I’m so sorry, Estella. I miss you.
