Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] coneygoil I finally am able to post some pics of my recent projects.

Here is polymer!Frodo, from several views.

Here is my model of Bag End.  I used $40.00 worth of styrofoam, resin eggs, polymer clay, grapevine wire, floral picks and the odds and ends off broken silk flowers, 4 bags of reindeer moss, a bag of polished pebbles, and a bag of fake dirt sold for model RR sets, and 140 hot glue sticks.

The back is still a bit unfinished, but I don't want to completly cover it, as I would lose the kitchen window that way.  The veggies in the garden, the front and back steps, the well and the bird bath (and robin) and the mushrooms are all poly clay.  The windows and doors are painted with acrylics.

So now *I* have spammed with pics!

I sure hope that looks all right, Barbara! I left the purse and shoes off b/c the purse pics were too small and the shoes pics were way blurry. You wouldn't have been able to tell much of 'em. Sorry I couldn't get those up :(

Bag End is splendid! All of the little flowers and trees remind me of my grandfather's model railroad. He did all of the landscaping for it and your Bag End made me think of it. It looks so lovely. Makes me want to move in. The Frodo is wonderful too. The eyes are great.

Wow! I saw polymer Frodo the last time you posted pictures of him, but Bag End is just gorgeous! The tree and the flowers and the fence, and the little door! Everything is so detailed and beautiful. And a wishing well too! Wow. Can I go live there? :D

I love Bag End! And polymer Frodo is so cute! Why can't the Shire be a real place? Why can't we be hobbits? *sigh*

Wow, those are wonderful! I'm so impressed, and I love all the little details! How long did they take you to make them?

Thank you for sharing these pics! I'm a great fan of picspam :)

Eeeeeeeeeeee!!! *stares* Those are so nice!! I love polymer Frodo, and exterior Bag End. Is that on a particular scale?! My Bag End is dollhouse scale, which I suspect is bigger than yours, but... what kind of styrofoam is that and where did you get it? :P I am starting to think about how I can build a hill around my Bag End.
