F is for favourite TV show: I'm currently on a home-makeover show kick. Just about anything on HGTV or DiY will grab my attention. Oh, and I kind of like that new show "No Ordinary Family". I'm afraid to get too attached though. Since I like it, it will probably be canceled.
G is for favourite game to watch: Figure skating
H is for hometown: currently Cushing, OK.
I is for instruments you play: piano and recorder. Badly.
J is for favourite juice: V-8
K is for whose butt you'd like to be kicking: Politicians who run negative campaign ads. Which at this point in time is almost all of them.
L is for the last place you ate at: Home. Baked pasta made with leftover spaghetti sauce from earlier in the week.
M is for marriage: 34 years to a really great guy.
N is for your name: Barbara. I also will answer to my SCA name, AElfwenna, and I probably would answer to Dreamflower as well, if I heard someone holler "Yo! Dreamflower!" *grin*.
O is for overnight hospital stay: July 2005. Gall-bladder surgery.
P is for people you were with today: Just my hubby. I've been sick with a cold for a few days, and trying to avoid spreading it around. He doesn't count-- he gave it to me, LOL!
Q is for what your best quality is: I'm not the best judge of that, but I suppose someone could say I have decent manners and I try to be nice to people.
R is for what you're currently reading: This meme? LOL! Actually, I picked up a new book about multi-color knitting at the library today and anticipate some fun with it. Also, MEFA stories.
S is for your relationship status: Um, I'm with claudia603 on this one-- I don't know what it means. I already answered the one about marriage, so I'm not sure what this one's about.
T is for the time you woke up today: 7:45AM
U is for type of underwear you have on: Um, well, I already took my shower and put on my bathrobe, so--
V is for vegetable you love: homegrown tomatoes and mushrooms
W is for worst habit: wasting time on other things (like this meme) when I should be doing something else, like writing fic or MEFA reviews...
X is for x-rays you've had: Good heavens! After 58 years, how am I going to remember all those?
Y is for some yummies: What kind? Given a choice, I usually choose crunchy and salty things like chips, but I also have a weakeness for sweet and gooey...
Z is for zodiac sign: My sun sign is Cancer, my moon is in Libra and my rising sign is Taurus. (I had my chart done when I was in high school)

(I'm afraid to get too attached though. Since I like it, it will probably be canceled. ) Me too! This year, I'm trying something new. I'm not watching any of the new shows. If they make it to the end of the year and get renewed, then I might get this season on Netflix and start them next year. LOL I decided not to get invested in any more one-season shows after 'Flash Forward'.

I keep forgetting that now I have my own actual computer and not using my work computer or attempting to use my old piece of crap one and so therefore I can really start reading fan fic again! :) Now I just need the time to do so! :D

It was fun.

I'm still very clogged up in the head, but I feel well enough to go to work today. I don't know if this was actually just a very bad cold or a mild flu, but it knocked me flat for a couple of days.

"Flashforward" was exactly what I had in mind when I typed that. It seems most of the shows I like get an early graveyard.

I'm still pretty plugged up and hacking, but I'm going to work today. I can't afford to miss too many days.

Oh good heavens yes.

What irritates me the most is that around here, it doesn't matter *what* someone's running for, they are running *against* President Obama. They start every add off with: "Joe Schmoe is a TRUE CONSERVATIVE!!!! He will FIGHT Obamacare and the government taking over your life!!! Vote for Joe Schmoe for dogcatcher!!" (or whatever)

We have exactly one person running who has not stooped to negative ads, in spite of the way her opponent has slammed her. I am most definitely giving her my vote for governor.

I don't expect her to win, though. Her opponent is spending big bucks.
