1) Total number of books owned?

This was a tough one, and the reason it took me so long to answer this meme. I had to estimate. I counted the books on ten bookshelves, averaged them out, and multiplied by the number of shelves: total 1,430; then I remembered the ones that are stashed in the Master Bedroom and out in my truck, so add about 20 to that.
