I just noticed something I missed thinking about the first time around: If it was Danielle who kidnapped Claire--as evidenced by her scratches and Claire's flashback--then *where* did Ethan fit in? He definitely told Charlie they wanted Claire *back*! *is another puzzlement*

I loved the bit where Hurley got Walt to smile on the plane--that was another bit I missed the first time around.

Could there be a connection between the "mining ship" and the fact that the hatch covered a shaft of some kind? Could the ones who took Walt be descendants of the ones on the ship?

Of course, I was definitely expecting it, but I really was bummed that Charlie had the statue at the end. I will be *very* surprised if it does not have the drugs in it.


Well, tomorrow I'll try to make up what I had to unravel. I don't suppose there is any hurry--the PippinHealers round robin doesn't seem to be going anywhere right now...

It wasn't on the first time around. That's the cool thing! All those flashbacks we saw during the season finale were all "new" flashbacks. ;-)

I don't think Danille kidnapped Claire, but I do think she either had a hand in it or might have been trying to save her... or something. There's not much to go on with Danielle... yet.

I'm thinking the guys that took Walt are the "Others" Danielle mentioned. I just hope they didn't kill off Sawyer!

Either way... there's a whole 'nuther season to look forward to! WOOHOO!

I so want to know where Ethan fits in the picture. It's like he doesn't belong to anything, but he must belong somewhere.

All I can think of is that he was one of the Others. Maybe one of the more zealous ones after Clair's baby. But he's dead now, so we might never know... unless we visit it in the next season with more explanation.

That's why I prefer crochet. Once it's started it's pretty simple to do something else at the same time. In fact it makes it easier to keep a rythmn going sometimes (Unless you have a complicated pattern).

Most of the time knitting (or crocheting or other needlework) during TV is not a problem. But LOST is too absorbing, and the pattern for the Pippin-scarf is a bit more complex than what I am used to.
I agree though, crochet *is* easier, and if you do have to unravel, it's usually not so much.

If the rumor is correct, there was a deleted scene in which Claire remembers that Danielle rescued her from Ethan. Of course, that raises even more questions, like why did Danielle rescue her (to help her get away or to keep Claire until she had the baby to try to get her own child back as she did in the finale). Did Claire think that Danielle was with Ethan. *Was* Danielle working with Ethan?
