I'm back

Well, the verdict was gastro-enteritis, probably food induced. In other words, food poisoning. I'm at a loss as to what I could have eaten to bring it on. They gave me lomotil and donatol, which left me totally doped up until a few minutes ago. I'm still pretty groggy. I'm supposed to eat only bland stuff for at least a week. And they gave me a script for more lomotil and donatol. As sleepy as that stuff makes me, I'm not going to take more of it than I can help.

If I don't zonk out again, I'm going to try and work on fic this afternoon.

Oh, I'm so glad you got a diagnosis and some meds and will, therefore, get much better quick! My darling little dog, Lucky, got very sick back in April with hemorraghic (no, I can't spell it) gastro-enteritis and we very nearly lost her. Dogs will, indeed, eat anything, and it was a very nasty business before she got better. Here's hoping that your meds will fix you up so that you're all better by the time you read this. And I'm sending Pippin over to read hobbitfic to you while you're resting and getting better. :-)

What?! Food poisoning??? Oh my goodness! *hugs* I was wondering why I hadn't heard from you. Thank the Lord you're all right! Maybe it's best I didn't come over this week. I probably won't be able to anyway :(

Hey Barbara! My dad has to go to Pass Christian tomorrow, and I was wondering if I could get dropped off and stay over your house tomorrow night. I know you have to work, but do you work during the morning or afternoon? Because I might have to help my Dad so it'll probably be like afternoon when we get done. I would call you to talk, but I'm at my Grandma's house and don't have yourt # with me. Let me know!

Yes, I'll be working from 9-2 tomorrow, and I have one or two errands, but I should be home between 3 and 4 in the afternoon. It'd be great if you could spend the night and come to the event, even if we don't have quite enough time to finish the dress.
