Self-indulgent

Well, my husband's off to a long awaited healing touch retreat/seminar for the next four days. Rather than feel sorry for myself, I decided to treat myself. I printed out the updates to some of my favorite stories, and took them with me to the Cracker Barrel, where I feasted on chicken livers, hashbrown casserole, baby carrots and fanfic. There is just something so *decadent* about going out to eat at a restaurant, alone, with reading material! I took my time, and finished up eating just as I finished up the stories. When the waiter asked did I want dessert, I told him "No thanks. I've run out of story." Left a nice tip--he was very attentive!

In a few minutes, I'm going to take a nice long shower, and then I'm going to stay up as late as I want on the computer. Sure, I have to work tomorrow, but what the hey? I'll just be sleepy!

Then I'll just have three more days to get through till my sweetie comes home.
