Question about ff.net

OK, here's a question for my friends who post at ff.net:

This morning I wanted to post a crossover. I chose LotR as my first selection. Then I clicked on the second selection, from the dropdown I chose "TV shows" and then from the other dropdown I chose "Monkees" (Yes, it's that little crack!fic I did for B2MeM last year) and then...nothing happened. The dropdowns went away and I had a red sentence telling me to "Please choose a second category". So, is there a step I am missing? What's up with that?

(I tried the FAQs. They were less than helpful.)

Well, it worked for me when I tried it as a dry run just now (and thanks for letting me know that they've FINALLY added the Monkees category back!). I've had that happen to me before, though, and I think it's just FF.n pitching a wobbly. Try it again in a few minutes and see if it'll work.
I was having all kinds of trouble trying to post one of my old stories to MPTT last week, btw--if I previewed, for example, it deleted my title and summary, and I couldn't move text from the Story Text box to the End Notes box. I guess I'll take my own advice after I get some sleep. :)

OK, I'll try again!

Sorry about the MPTT glitch. Did you make sure to scroll all the way down and hit "add story" after you previewed? (I've forgotten to do that a few times myself) if so, please do get in touch with Dawn--she can help you figure it out!

Pretty sure I did at least once--retyped title, summary, story notes, etc., and hit "Add Story," and it gave me the "Some elements are missing" error and ate the text in those fields again. I'll see if it works tonight, though.

Well, I have tried off and on all day, and I still cannot get ff.net to accept my second category!
