My paid LJ is up today, and payday's not till tomorrow. Oh well. I can make do with the free until then. But gee, it's not very pretty.

The week's nearly at an end, and I still have several incomplete B2MEM bits on my hard drive! I must try really hard to get a few more finished and posted!

And I just realized I only have one sentence written for my GFIC challenge story. Yeesh!!!

And completely on another subject that's a little TMI of the feminine sort, I need some advice...

Can anyone recommend a good mild non-allergenic depilatory? For forty years, I've used Nair on my armpits, but the last few times I've tried using it, it's burned me like fire, and I had to wash it off before it had been on long enough to do the job. The first couple of times, it only burned me under my left arm, and then the last time it burned both sides.

It's never done that before, but perhaps they changed their formula or something. I prefer NOT to shave there, as that gives me a rash, which is why I started using Nair in the first place. But warm weather is coming, and I need to do something about my hairy 'pits before then.

oooh, I've never thought of using Nair under my arms! I do not have any suggestions, I'm sorry! :( I wonder if there is a more gentle shaving blade...

My underarms is the only area I de-hair. My legs just don't get that hairy--I haven't needed to do anything to them in probably 25 years, and before that I only had to do below my knees.

But the Nair has always worked fine under my arms up until the last few months. *sigh*

I've never used Nair, so I don't know if they've changed the formula. I wouldn't have the first idea of what to use instead. Sorry I can't be any help to you.

I can probably Google some, but I was hoping to get some personal recs from people I know. But I knew it might be a long shot.

I use the Sensitive Skin Nair in the pale blue container, but I don't know whether that might still be too strong, b/c I've not had a bad reaction to the regular Nair before - though I also stopped using the regular kind before my body kicked sensitivity into high gear.
