Date night at Barnes & Noble
Aug. 6th, 2005 09:34 pmI got my last real paycheck from Michael's today, and the DH got paid yesterday, so we decided to go out to eat. We went to Logan's Roadhouse, and as we finished up the meal, hubby asks "Do you want to go to a movie or Barnes & Noble?" Silly question!
We came away with five CDs: three bargain bin Gregorian chant, the Celtic Woman CD from the TV special, and my best pick, the new Medieval Baebes CD. And I picked up a new Polymer Clay book, a Clotilde's Sewing Magazine, and *ta-da* a $19.98 Calligraphy book/set from the remainder table, at 75% off, plus an extra 10% with my member card--$4.49! The fact that I already have that set is irrelevant--the pen holder, nibs, ink and colors would run to more than that!! And you can *never* have too many pens...trust me, LOL!
