grey_wonderer has recced this lovely fic I've been reading, and when I thoroughly agreed with her she suggested I rec it too, so it could reach a wider readership. It's a Fellowship story, a very exciting and well done gap-filler, and it has a great focus on both Legolas and on Sam. Anyone who loves Sam, especially Sam h/c, will love this. And Elf lovers should enjoy this portrayal of Legolas. The rest of the Fellowship is not stinted either. It's really terrific! It's a WIP, and up to Chapter 6. Rated G.It's called "The River" by Indigo Bunting.
