A bit of picspam
Feb. 22nd, 2010 08:49 amExcept for one brief errand in a few minutes, I'll be home today, and the house is all done and I can play on the computer all day if I want to. Expect to be spammed!
After fussing with a very slow Photobucket all weekend, I finally got some pics uploaded:
That apron I was making last week?
The apron's made from leftover fabrics from the window treatments I made for the kitchen. (Apparently I don't have pics of those yet-- which surprises me, because I thought I took them.)

Bodice close-up
The bodice pocket is a paper-pieced patchwork, using some accent fabrics from the same curtains. It's the first time I tried paper-piecing.

Pocket detail:
The pocket is also made from an accent fabric. It's pleated at top and bottom. It doesn't really show as well as I'd hoped--the pleats at the bottom are reversed from the ones at top--it made the pocket pouf out nicely!

Back:
Again, doesn't show too well, but I used an adorable little daisy button to fasten the neck.
