dreamflowerI'm very worried about Sugar. She's listless and off her feed, although she is still drinking water. I'm hoping it's just the weather. We'll keep the house cool today, and I will be keeping an eye on her.
Good news: our son has found his own place and moved into it! So I finally have my sewing room back! I'm glad we were able to have him here with us when he needed us, but it had been ten months, and this house is just too small for 3 adults. His new place is a little converted garage guesthouse, and he's got a good rent on it, and it's close enough that he can still come over here for meals from time to time, and do his laundry. So there's the advantage of having him close by as well as the advantage of not having him under the same roof.
Also: not to speak too soon, but (*knocks on wood*) I think we may be winning the battle with the ants...
Now that the MEFA nominations are over, I hope to get some fic-writing done!
