I had very strange dreams last night, including one that was set in M-e, involving Frodo, Boromir, Elves, an island that might or might not have been Tol Eressea and a talking horse, that wasn't really talking but was Frodo speaking through it in an attempt to communicate with some Elves of the past who were facing some sort of unspecified but apparently dreadful fate from which only Boromir could save them. It all seemed very significant while I slept, but as is usual with such dreams, when I woke up, I realized that it was completely incoherent...yet it all left me feeling very sad and uneasy...
So I'm awake early. The weather's been great this week-- I think fall is really here. The DH and I are planning a little day trip to see some of the sights on Route 66 that we haven't seen yet. (We've explored it a bit to the west, but not to the east.) We're going to take a few sandwiches with us, so our only expense should be gas; of course, that's not insignificant these days!
I see that LJ may be down by the time I get home this afternoon. Perhaps I'll use that time to do a few MEFA reviews.
I hope everyone has a great day today!
