I'm off to the War--whee!
Mar. 16th, 2006 07:19 amI'll be leaving in a few minutes to drive up to Gulf Wars. The plan for today is to make an early day of it--so I should check in again this evening. I'm hoping to spend some time at the Dungeon Scribe's Point today, and check out the merchants a bit. Tomorrow I am hoping that
coneygoil is going to be able to go with me.
By the way, I see the announcements for the GMAs are up now, and the speeches--I'd like to congratulate all the winners, especially
grey_wonderer for "The Trouble with Jam", *bounce*bounce*grin*! (Loved your Pippin's acceptance speech...)
I'm going to have nice Middle-earthy music to listen to all the way up there! I hope everyone has a nice day!
How does everyone like my hat icon
danachan made for me?

Date: 2006-03-17 04:29 am (UTC)I was thrilled that your story, "Hobbit Aid" got an award too. That one deserves all of the awards that it wins. It is so very emotional on so many levels.
Have a great time at "Gulf Wars"!

Date: 2006-03-17 10:50 am (UTC)I'm glad that "Hobbit Aid" got runner-up. I am still not sure of what to make of the story myself, but if it helps keep attention focussed on what's going on here, that is all for the best.
Had a great time in the "Dungeon" (Scribe's Point) yesterday. I hope the weather is cooperative today.
