shirebound and belegcuthalion
Shirebound, I thought I should give you a little bit of a heads up--someone's heading in your direction right now...
“Sam? Merry? Are you all right?”
Merry’s face was a bit green, and Sam’s was white. Sam nodded, though he kept his eyes squinched shut.
Pippin on the other hand was eagerly looking out the window. “Frodo! That was an amazing experience! I’m so glad Dreamflower gave us those airplane tickets!”
“Yes, Pippin, but we must hurry if we are to get to Shirebound’s office, and wish her a happy birthday!”
The two of them pried their companions from their seats, and they managed to get them off the ramp and out of the plane.
“Now we are supposed to get a thing called a taxi.”
“What do you suppose Shirebound got us for her birthday? She already gave me this,” said Pippin, fingering the paper clip chain around his neck, even as he craned his head to look out at the streets passing by. “Riding in a ‘car’ is a lot more fun in daylight.”
Merry, who had begun to recover from the trauma of flying said “Humans *get* presents on their birthdays, they don’t give them.”
“I don’t know,” said Frodo. “Shirebound knows a lot about hobbit customs. Still, I suppose that we should take her something. It’s not noon yet, after all.”
“I know, Mr. Frodo,” said Sam. “Why don’t we take her some of those ‘Pepsis’ she likes?”
“That’s a good idea!” said Pippin enthusiastically, “and we could get some of that ‘Coke’ for us!”
Frodo nodded. “That does sound like a gift she’d appreciate. We will *all* take it to her at her office.”
Merry rolled his eyes. “Seems to me that’s how it all got started in the first place,” he muttered.

humanwee!Hobbit of four months in the seat beside me. He certainly ate like one because he was huge! ;) My hobbits stayed at home and has been waiting for me rather impatiently if I am to judge by the muse's activities lately. ;)
