Fic recommendation!

On Stories of Arda, Larner has been posting a lovely fic called "Reconciliation". It's about how Merry, Pippin and Sam come to accept and live with Frodo's loss, and how they begin to make their own families understand all that happened. Although there are references to events in some of the author's other fics, especially to "The Acceptable Sacrifice", it's not necessary to have read them to understand. She's up to chapter three now, and it is just the most beautiful chapter.

I actually still have to read anything by her but since it's including Merry I'll look at it. Always open for new and excellent fic and she's always reviewing me. Hm... *bookmarks story*

Larner's fics are excellent, although they are generally Frodo-centric. Still she has done justice to her portrayals of Merry and Pippin in them, showing the depth of loyalty and affection the cousins have for him, and I am thinking she will do very well with this. I *love* her Saradoc and Esmeralda! In fact, the beginning of this focusses on the parents of Merry and Pippin, as they--and especially Paladin--realize how badly they have underestimated what their sons went through.

Oh, and I *really* love her Merimac, too!
