Another polymer clay project.
Jun. 7th, 2015 10:16 pmI made this little display for the store. I figured it would work for the entire summer; it went up just before Memorial Day, and can stay up through the Fourth of July and Labor Day!
Here's the pic:
I made the picnic table from popsicle sticks, and used a scrap of gingham for the tablecloth. Everything else was made from polymer clay. The only thing I had to purchase was the fake grass. I used some of the star wire from last year's display (You can see it on the left). The red paper was old Christmas wrap, I printed the lettering and store logo off the computer. The base is salvaged from some Styrofoam in which some produce was shipped. Of course, I already had all the polymer clay on hand.
Customers love it, some have taken pics of it, and I was told the District Manager also took a pic when she was there!
It was a lot of fun to make!

Date: 2015-06-10 03:06 pm (UTC)LOL! I can see Sam standing at the grill in a little white apron, wielding a spatula, while Frodo waits impatiently for his burger!
