Spring has sprung
Feb. 25th, 2016 04:32 pmFrom my front yard:
My daffodils. These grow right underneath my sewing room window.

Here's my unicorn bed. The pansies were planted last fall, and overwintered beautifully.
The painted rocks, of course, stay in bloom all year. I'm planning to add some more flowers this spring.

Date: 2016-02-26 02:30 pm (UTC)We got warm enough last week/weekend for ONE daffodil to open, but then it turned off cold again and the daffs put their display on hold. I expect to see more open this weekend, though. Some are on the very cusp. I love how daffs have such self control... it's like they stick their noses out the door and say, "Nope, not today." And then simply hang out undamaged through freezing temps until it gets warm again. Tough flowers, daffs.
