Dancing with the Stars

I'm going to put this behind a cut, in case anyone is planning to watch tonight's DWTS later. But even if you have not been watching the show this season, you should see this dance.

Niall Demarco, who is partnered with pro Peta Murgatroyd, is a well-known male model. He is also totally deaf from birth, and so is his whole family. His freestyle dance tonight was utterly incredible.

All the dances were amazing tonight! I am still rooting for Ginger Zee, but any of the three finalists deserve their places. But Niall and Peta's dance was something truly special.

Shiremom and I just watched the show, and I agree that the choreography and intensity of that dance is something very, very special. Thank you for the video, I wanted to see it again immediately! Shiremom and I wanted to be rooting for different people, so weeks ago, she chose Nyle and I chose Paige. I do think either of them can win it, and both have achieved something incredible (in different ways) this season.

Well, the DH and I are huge fans of Good Morning, America, which we watch faithfully almost every morning, so we've been rooting for Ginger. She's such a sweetie and a real daredevil.

But I won't be upset of one of the other two wins because I think they all are extremely talented and any one of the three deserves the win. The last few seasons have been that way--the show has really stretched and evolved over the years!

I've watched that dance over and over. The intensity is so incredible!

This was my first year watching a season of DWTS from the beginning to the end. I hope they're all this good!

Stunning. I don't watch DWTS, but this was quite lovely, very evocative, and a great choice of music (hard to beat Disturbed's cover of "Sound of Silence"). I enjoyed the choreography here very much.

The DH and I have been fans of the show since it began, and have enjoyed it very much over the years.

I'd never heard that cover before, but it was extraordinarily evocative and absolutely perfect for that dance.

I find myself absolutely fascinated by Niall; Marley Matlin, the deaf actress, was on the show before, but she did not do nearly so well as Niall has done.
