Good Morning!
Jan. 7th, 2007 09:26 amI'm so pleased that the first Marigold's Challenge of 2007 is now up!
talechallenge36 has a lot of wonderful hobbity stories! I've only had time to read a few, but I'm looking forward to the rest.
My own offering is the first part of--
EUCATASTROPHE: THE RETURN
http://talechallenge36.livejournal.com/4811.html
and is set of course, in my "happy AU"!

Date: 2007-01-07 03:59 pm (UTC)This was lovely--what we would think of as The Best of All Possible Worlds. We so often think of such things, but seldom explore them past the rosy glow of 'what if...?'
Very nicely done!

Date: 2007-01-08 02:22 pm (UTC)Well, you see, I'd been reading several very good, but horribly angsty, Frodo h/c stories. Poor fellow, he was suffering so much worse than in canon. And so one night I just woke up with this whole scenario of how the Three could have been freed, and wrote the first "Eucatastrophe" story. I never thought about writing another, but this is, I think, the sixth one. They aren't really in order at all. I do have a lot of fun with them, though.
