Today...

the DH is getting off work early to take me to my follow-up appointment with the surgeon. Hopefully I'll be cleared to lift more than 5 lbs. (Really--I had no idea 5 lbs was such a small amount until that's all I am allowed to lift) and to drive again. (I'm not taking the Lortab now--I'm just using Tylenol for the little bit of pain that's left. I really think I'm all better now...I hope.

And--Hurricane Chris, just go away. We don't want to deal with you.

And the doctor said

I'm making progress as he expected, no complications. He lifted the weight limit, except to say, take it slow, and don't try too much at one time, and told me that my sleepiness and lack of energy is from the general anesthesia, and can take a week or 10 days to completely wear off.

So, it's looking good.
