Because the DH will not be home from work for about another hour, and I need to keep awake.

It seemed odd to come home from work and to just eat supper by myself. I drove myself to knitting circle at the library, and had an enjoyable time there. A bit frustrating though. That double-knitted potholder I want to knit is not coming out right. I thought maybe someone there could give me some advice, but no luck. So I just worked on the sweater for shirebound's Pippin, instead.

Then I came home. I had DVR'd DWTS and also Skating with the Stars. I didn't watch DWTS, as the DH wants to watch it with me. But I did watch the other. Already posted about that.

Guess I will go try to work on my Yule exchange fic for the GFIC comm.

Listening to the news on Good Morning America--the lost little Boy Scout has been found.

I'm hungry. But I can't have breakfast, because in a few minutes I have to leave and go get some fasting blood work done that was postponed from before I was in the hospital. *sigh* I *still* have bruises on my left arm from the IV. I'm not looking forward to having my veins picked at again. And then I have a dr. appt. with my regular dr. I just hope I have time in between to get something to eat.

the DH is getting off work early to take me to my follow-up appointment with the surgeon. Hopefully I'll be cleared to lift more than 5 lbs. (Really--I had no idea 5 lbs was such a small amount until that's all I am allowed to lift) and to drive again. (I'm not taking the Lortab now--I'm just using Tylenol for the little bit of pain that's left. I really think I'm all better now...I hope.

And--Hurricane Chris, just go away. We don't want to deal with you.

It looks as though my computer is going to cooperate for a while longer. It's been a while since I updated to let everyone know what's going on.

And I'm still waiting on cable to fix my internet permanently. It's settled down for now--but I don't trust it, after the "on-and-off" thing it's been doing since last week.
