So tonight is the first new run episode of "Lost" in ages, I'm looking forward along with everyone else to vegging out tonight as soon as it comes on, and finding out just *what* is going to happen with Claire and Charlie.

Not.

This is the second Wednesday of the month, A&S night (Arts and Sciences class) for our SCA Barony. And I had almost completely forgotten that I am committed to teaching a class on stick-weaving tonight. At least it's here, at my house. But I've got to spend the day finishing getting the sticks ready, and cleaning the house for company.

I do like teaching that, though.

And there's always video-tape.

Thank goodness.

A co-worker ruined LOST for me by telling me everything she'd heard was to be in the 'new' episode tonight. I have it on tape and now have no desire to watch it because I know too much about it! sigh Hope you are luckier. Some people are so thoughtless! I feel a bit like Denethor right now. I have too much knowledge. Think I'll go build a fire and roast some marshmellows or ......

Dude, you have to watch it. It was one of the best eps yet. She told you everything, or just the stuff they had been saying in TV Guide? I was pretty spoiled about this ep myself, but still found it fascinating. And it's a Charlie ep, which is really all you need to know. :)

She told me things about Jack and Ethan, about Charlie and Claire, about the kid and a theory about animals, a threat that someone makes, she was one constant spewage and no matter how hard I tried to shut her up, she went on and on! She does this EVERY week and it is totally ruining the show for me. She reads everything she can about it and then the next day, she discusses it loudly so that if I haven't managed to watch my tape, (I get off work right at 8pm and have an hour's drive home so I have to tape it.) I am screwed! Worse, she is my supervisor and so I can't be too direct without pissing her off which I can't afford to do. People on line are so considerate and they warn you if there are spoilers! sigh I am glad that you enjoyed it. I am keeping the tape and maybe I will give it a try later. It's a bit like when someone tells you the end of a good book before you are half-way through with it.

I don't really get office politics. Where I work, we tease our supervisors and managers as much as we do our fellow workers. So it's hard for me to remember sometimes that some people can't be so direct with their supervisors. Unfortunately, you can't do the same to her, since she clearly likes being spoiled. Maybe someone else will have some suggestions for you.

Hm, was all that supposed to happen in this episode? They're only an hour long, lol. That sounds like several of the past episodes really. Oh well, try to watch it at least before you go to work tomorrow, cause then she'll really ruin it for you. ;)

I used to work in a place like yours, but it just didn't pay that much. Loved the job, but needed more cash. This one pays well, but I don't enjoy it. Greed is an evil thing. LOL
