As soon as we finish packing the trucks,marigoldg her mom, the dogs and I will be heading out. We've got a long drive ahead of us. When we get to the destination, we will try to check in with everyone.

Hi Dreamflower! I finally got off my rusty dusty and took a look at LJ! I'm delighted to see Marigold has you all set up with your own journal. It won't take long before you are as addicted as the rest of us!

marigoldg called me last night and I've updated her journal. I'm very glad you are all safe and sound. According to the news this morning, it looks like you might be able to head home very soon. Thankfully it seems Biloxi missed the worst of the storm.

Yes, we got back last night. We were extremely lucky to be on the west side of the storm! Although I am appalled at what happened in Mobile, Pensacola and Panama City. (I'm originally from North FL. and lived in Panama City for several years.)
