My birthday dinner

dreamflowerThe DH decided we'd celebrate a day early for my birthday. He made us reservations at Click's Steakhouse in Pawnee (a town about 30 miles nort of here). We had a nice drive up; it was raining buckets as we left town, but it stopped fairly quickly and turned nice. I finished knitting another dishcloth on the drive up.
We got to the restaurant, which was packed, but that didn't matter to us since we had reservations.
He'd ordered flowers to be delivered to the restaurant, and they were there on the table when we arrived--a beautiful arrangement of roses and native Oklahoma flowers!
We had a great meal, steak, natch--I had a lovely rib-eye, and he ordered a buffalo T-bone. Dessert was tollhouse pie--it was like lovely gooey warm chocolate chip cookie dough in a crust with ice cream!
I got home and had a nice phone call from my sister! Then I worked on some fic, and now I am going to bed. Good-night all!
When I wake up tomorrow, I'll be 55.
