Last night there was a bad ice storm round where Barbara lives, and her power is still out this morning. We don't know when she'll be back. Luckily, they have gas heat, which means they have warm water, heating for the house - so no one has to worry that she and her husband will freeze to death.

Thanks for letting us know. I've been through the ice-storm-no-power thing twice. Once we got power back the next day, but last year we were out for 8 days and had to rotate our small generator between the sump pump, fridge and furnace. Now we have a generator that will run all three - - but I sure hope we won't need it this winter! Hope Barbara gets her power back soon.

Oh, dear. Poor Dreamflower. But I'm glad she has a gas range. That's one of the best things about having gas to cook with. Thanks for letting us know, Dana.
