It really is! The author really captured Ellis Peter's characters and style, and did a great job of historical research as well.

Hee hee! I sent the link to my mom, because she's a huge Brother Cadfael fan, and she loved it! Now I'm looking for more fanfiction for her. I've only found a handful of fics so far, though. Is there any kind of Brother Cadfael archive somewhere that you know of? Or other individual fics you would recommend?

This was the first I've seen, but a quick Google on Brother Cadfael say it's not so uncommon as you might think! I don't know about reccing any, since I haven't read them yet!

Oh, and I can confess to my story now: Chronicles of Narnia! It's book-verse, post-Last Battle--I've posted it in my own LJ now!
