Update on Dana

Dana called me. They got the results of her tests in, and it's definitely gallbladder. She's going to be admitted to the hospital this afternoon. She doesn't know yet when the surgery will be scheduled.

Yes, poor Dana! She has the rottenest luck, sometimes. But I know she'll be glad of all the good thoughts!

Do you know when the surgery is exactly? How long will she be expected to be in the hospital?

She wasn't up to talking much when I spoke to her, (and was kind of out of it from pain meds) and at the time I talked to her mom, her mom didn't know yet. I know *I* was in the hosp. for almost a week with mine, but then I had some other complications, so I'm not sure I could apply them to her.

If I do get more info, though, I'll be sure to let you know!

If you talk to Dana before I do (we have science co-op in a little bit), please tell her that I'll be prodding the Muse for a little Pippin-Estella, or perhaps Farry-Goldi, or whatever I can sweet-talk that recalcitrant (rude word omitted) to write, if at all possible.

Considering we haven't been on speaking terms since October, I don't know... but maybe for Dana. You just never know with the Muse. Dana's always been a bright spark in the Muse's fancies...

I looked up the hospital online and they have an e-mail service thingy there. You just address it to Dana and I guess they deliver the messages. That's kind of cool. :)
