Computer woes

My computer's in the shop. We'll know by Monday or Tuesday how serious the problem is. Meanwhile, I've got the hubby's laptop.

Nothing more frustrating than computer woes... :-(

It really *is* very frustrating. I do have a few fic files that I emailed to myself, but there are a lot of files I can't get my hands on, so to speak. Very frustrating!!

I did. I've been just keeping my fingers crossed for ages now.

We do. But I'm not very patient at sharing. It's *his* computer, but I can't refrain from sighing and fidgeting when *he* wants to use it.

Thank goodness he's understanding and has a sense of humor.

Did they say what it was or what they assumed dear? Or did they give you that puzzled frown? Anyway *big hug*

Ne said that it's likely the same thing that has happened to a lot of computers since the ice storm; something about "dirty power". Anyway, if it's *that* it shouldn't be too hard or too expensive to fix. But of course, he can't be sure until he actually *does* things to it.
