Tomorrow has *got* to be better!
Nov. 20th, 2008 08:29 pmReally, I'm thinking positive. Today was pretty bad--it started off when I could not locate my purse before I left for work.
After frantic searching, I realized I had to have left it at the training meeting I went to last night--but I was not sure if it would have been found. Attempts to call were foiled by a busy signal at the store. *sigh* I took a chance and drove to work without my driver's license. Fortunately, they *had* found it.
We were also informed that the Hepatitis A vaccine was in, and we would have to go to the health dept. between 2:30 and 3:30 to get the shot. Ah, I thought--just enough time to clock out at 1, hurry home, eat lunch, and get my shot.
Work was hectic. We will be moving over to the new store Monday, so there were bosses all over the place. The delivery truck was late, so we could not get to the back. And it was a strange combination of "busybusybusy" alternating with periods of utter boredom. When I finally clocked out, I was tired and hungry.
My car would not start. My battery was dead as a doornail. I called AAA, and was informed that it would be at least 45 minutes before they could come and jump me off. So I went back in, and bought lunch.
I had a short time at home--just long enough to let the dogs out and check my email, before I had to go get my shot.
And I have to be to work at 7:15AM tomorrow. *sigh*
But I am sure it will be better tomorrow!

Moving days are crazy, but at least you got your purse back. So there was an upside. Not to mention - off by 2? I would love that!
