Yesterday

...was indeed, a better day, though extremely long and exhausting.

Clocked in at 7:15AM, had a lunch break from 1:15 to 3PM, and then back to work until 9PM. Spent the whole morning washing dishes--which actually is something I enjoy. It was even more fun, since I was getting to know a few of my new co-workers, and as we were washing new equipment, we had fun trying to guess what the heck most of them were, LOL!

Still, even when I was younger and working full time, I never put in *those* kinds of hours. I really envied the youngsters who were still bouncing around and ready to party after we got off. (Of course, *that* could have had something to do with all the ice cream some of them consumed...)

I'm going to leave for work again in just a few minutes...

I won't know until Monday. Right now we are on a training schedule. I worked 9 to 9 today, and tomorrow I go in at 8...

Well, I kept telling myself "it's just temporary". But my legs are *so* swollen tonight...

I'm glad the training's over tomorrow. The new store opens Monday, and I hope I will get back to a normal schedule.

Just right now, as they are preparing for the opening. It's really tough on us older biddies. *sigh*

Wow, 7:15 a.m. until 9 p.m.? No wonder you're exhausted! I hope today is an easier shift!!

Well, today was from 9 to 9, with the same 2 hour lunch break. Tomorrow we go in at 8--until whenever! I will be glad when I find out the regular schedule.

I'm glad it went better than the day before! I don't rarely pull that kind of hours, but it happens, and I'm never bouncing at the end of it either.

Oh, golly, I am so exhausted at the end of the day--it's rather irritating to see all the kids still clowning around and raring to go. Youth is wasted on the young...
