Today a woman came in to the store with her four children. All of them were adorable, with big blue eyes--but one of them also had dark curly hair and a pale complexion! As soon as I laid eyes on him, I instantly thought of little Frodo! Fortunately, I bit my tongue and didn't shout it out! I probably would have scared the poor kid to death!

He really did look like a little hobbit--except he was wearing shoes. I don't know about pointed ears, because his curls covered their tips...

Fro-fanaticism is sadly limited, I agree, lol! :)

LOL! Well, it's a good thing to have your mind on. I've had several occasions where I've almost blurted out something fandom related to a complete stranger as well.

Awww... I love it when I meet young Frodo's in the streets.

A long long time ago (back when I still was in school) mum brought me to school and on the way there we drove past a young boy about 6... big blue eyes, curly hair under his hood... I almost jumped out of the driving car, when I banged my head on the window. Mum agreed that we should kidnap and keep him :P

He sounds adorable. Too bad you couldn't get a peek at those ears!

I'm so glad there are hobbits in Oklahoma. So that's where they settled in the Fifth Age!

How adorable! It's difficult to restrain yourself in those situations... I have a little boy at preschool who is the spitting image of Ron Weasley, and I learned his name REALLY quickly because I knew I couldn't call him Ron.
