dreamflowerI was trying to process my feelings about yesterday, and came up with this dribble:
A Golden Day
I was not there. I wasn’t shivering in the cold.
I didn’t walk hours to stand a mile away.
I wasn’t shoulder to shoulder with strangers,
exchanging stories of a wild, hurried journey.
but I laughed when they laughed,
I cried when they cried.
I listened in awe
to the dawn
of new
Hope.
