hee hee... we had FOTR on, too. Even if it is the nasty TNT chopped-to-bits version (how dare they cut out Aragorn getting tossed on his can by the hobbits???) Nothing else worth watching.

Yes yes yes!!! I was growling to my husband about that. Drives me nuts. I may have to get out the EE DVDs and just have my own marathon. It's snowing today and except for the fact that my 9 y/o can't handle it yet, it'd be a perfect way to spend the day. Ah well.

You know you and your Hubby have seen these movies too many times when you start to do "Mystery Science Theatre" to them, aka muting the sound and making up new crazy lines. .....Yeh, we need a new hobby, lol. I'm trying to write a serious scne in my story, and it's just not working because I keep laughing so hard. Hubby goes to work here soon, so I'll try again then.

kinda reminds me of a MST3K movie I only saw a few minutes of (or remember a scene of) where the detective dude with a gun is walking around a semi-dark house, throwing himself into doorways and holding his gun like he's about to shoot...

Can't remember if it was Crow or Servo who said it though. I'm inclined to think it was Crow, but then I hear it in my mind as Servo. ;-)
