More about the mini-moot
Mar. 8th, 2009 09:23 amI checked the fit of the Hogwarts robe I'm making her--it's at the pin-basted stage, and I wanted to make sure I didn't need to make any adjustments in the size before I start serging the seams.
Then I went to cook supper. She kept me company and helped out, as I fixed roast chicken, baked potatoes, cauliflower, salad, and "Missus Maggot's Mushrooms".
After supper, we went in the sewing room, and she taped me up so I can have a new Duct Tape Dummy. It's a time consuming activity, but it didn't seem to take all that long, as we talked about our favorite fics.
She finally had to leave around nine-ish, as she has to teach today, and also because of the time change. It was so fun to have her here again!

*shakes head* It never occurs to me to "worry" about meeting one of my hobbity friends! I suppose it should, but I'm not afraid at all.
