...for fans of Doctor Who and the Who-niverse.

The latest page of "The Ten Doctors" web-comic. http://comics.shipsinker.com/2009/04/01/the-10-doctors-page-219/

Even if you have not read any of the rest, take a look at this one!

So that's the idea behind Dr Who! A spaceman in a kiosk? Hmm. Pretty intriguing.

There have actually been several april-fools for Dr Who and Torchwood today - and some of them were really funny - and so ridiculous you kinda wanted them to be true just to see it happen!

Beautiful! I have to admit, April Fool's has gotten a lot more fun since the internet revolution. I wonder what the BBC's story is this year?

That looks simply amazing; I'll read it through in more detail when I have time.

I went through a list of April Fool's Day jokes from this year and didn't find any sort of spectacular BBC joke so I'm guessing that the flying penguins, San Seriffe, and spaghetti crops are not a regular thing (I think there was a BBC joke but it wasn't nearly as awesome as past ones have been).

My favorite internet April Fools have to be the year that MuggleNet got "shut down" by JKR's lawyers, and the previews for the "fifth Monkey Island" adventure game where they actually got the guy who voices the main character to record a few fake cutscenes for them.

Though ThinkGeek's Squeez Bacon this year was pretty good, too, and they had an amazing herbal drink thing to counteract bad mental pictures encountered on the internet. Somehow I think they'd help with some of the fan fiction out there.

LOLOL - thank heavens that never happened in THIS timeline!

As for April Fool's jokes, on Sparkpeople.com, the weightloss site I'm active on, they published an article about the government's latest plan to fight the obesity epidemic. They decided to change the country's units of measure. What was once 1.1 lbs will be the new pound, and that will suddenly drop a lot of people below the obesity level. HEE!!

I like that plan! Hehehe!
