Nope. Not just you. I have one room in my house that floods all the time, and the last couple of times, it's gone into a couple of other rooms as well.

Unfortunately, it's not deep enough to swim in, just extensive enough to be a major pain in the butt.

lil_banik_slave's suggestion of a hole in the floor isn't such a bad idea. Maybe that side of your house could use a French drain?

We've been discussing that.
We've tried something similar before, but that was several years ago. It temporarily alleviated the problem. (Cut the flooding back to about twice a year for two or three years.)
