They look at me expectantly. Somehow, I am not sure how, I have become their leader, and they are sure I know what I am doing. They call me brave and fearless, who never saw me running, terrified from Crickhollow. They praise me for standing up to Lotho, when all I am seeking is revenge--revenge for my poor sweet Folco, who never really ever hurt anyone. They praise my clever plan as we ready ourselves to raid Lotho’s leaf shipment. We go over the details one last time.

It will be a miracle if I don’t get us all killed.

Very nice! I love Fatty, he`s such an interesting character that goes from being a comfortable gentlehobbit to a rebel leader to save his Shire. The courage in hobbits are buried deep, but when it comes to the surface...! Lovely :)

As Gandalf said, "fierce as dragons in a pinch" and as the Master of the Houses of Healing said "very tough in the fibre". Even though Fatty was a Bolger, and had his share of timidity, he was also half-Took.
